Itinerary Overview
Day 1 – October 31: Arrival in Mexico City
Meet & greet at Mexico City International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.
Day 2 – November 1: Mixquic Celebration
Breakfast. Visit San Andrés Mixquic, a town known for its deeply rooted Day of the Dead traditions. Admire the candlelit altars, decorated tombs, and floral offerings that guide the souls of the departed. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 3 – November 2: Day of the Dead Parade
Breakfast. If confirmed by authorities, enjoy the Day of the Dead Parade, a spectacular cultural event featuring floats, costumes, and music. Guests will walk to the nearest viewing point from their hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 4 – November 3: Coyoacán, Xochimilco & University City
Breakfast. Panoramic tour along Avenida Insurgentes, passing landmarks like Plaza de Toros, Teatro de los Insurgentes, and UNAM murals. Visit Coyoacán, including San Juan Bautista Church and the iconic Casa Azul (Frida Kahlo Museum, exterior view). Continue to Xochimilco for a traditional trajinera ride through its ancient canals. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 5 – November 4: Departure
Breakfast. Transfer to Mexico City International Airport at scheduled time.
